Samyung SEP-406 Satellite Emergency Radio Beacon

The Samyung SEP-406 is a satellite emergency radio beacon designed to transmit distress signals to search and rescue services. The device meets international Cospas-Sarsat standards (Class 2) and operates on two frequencies:

  • 406.025 MHz (UHF): Transmits signals via the COSPAS-SARSAT satellite system.

  • 121.5 MHz (VHF): Sends distress signals with homing capability for aviation services.
