A marine diesel damper has been manufactured
According to the technical specifications provided by Astrakhan State Technical University, a prototype marine diesel damper has been manufactured. The mechanism’s design was developed by the university as part of an initiative to replace imported components used in marine power systems.
The manufacturing process covered the full cycle — from receiving the design documentation to producing the finished unit, using metalworking and assembly on the company’s machining equipment.
Following the delivery, the customer issued a letter of appreciation, noting the precision of execution, the compliance of the design with specified parameters, and the timely completion of the order. The unit has been sent for further testing as part of an experimental assembly.
