Dontechcenter provides a full range of services for the maintenance and repair of Voyage Data Recorders (VDR) and Simplified Voyage Data Recorders (S-VDR). Our services include installation, configuration, annual inspections, post-failure recovery, and shore-based maintenance of float-free capsules.

Our Services

• • Installation and commissioning of new and upgraded VDR / S-VDR systems.
• • Annual performance testing of VDR and S-VDR units and connected sensors in accordance with SOLAS-74 Regulation V/18.8.
• • Shore-based servicing and testing of float-free capsules (FFC).
• • Repair of processor units, I/O modules, power supply systems, memory storage, and interface units.
• • Firmware updates, configuration programming, and parameter restoration.
• • Data extraction, decoding, and analysis following incidents or accidents.
• • Replacement of internal batteries and scheduled technical maintenance procedures.
