Emergency Repair of Hatch Cover Hydraulic System Carried Out Without Interrupting Cargo Operations
Urgent Repair of Hatch Cover Hydraulic System
As part of the vessel's maintenance, the company’s specialists carried out an urgent repair of the hydraulic system responsible for lifting the hatch covers. The work was performed during ongoing loading operations without interrupting cargo handling.
Due to safety restrictions prohibiting the use of welding and gas-cutting equipment, only mechanical (detachable) connections were used.
The repair involved the use of high-pressure hoses (HPH) manufactured in-house. Compatible flanges and threaded connections were also applied.

All components were pre-tested for tightness and compliance with operational parameters. The work was completed on time, and the vessel’s departure was not delayed.
