Manufacture of Bronze Stern Tube and Helm Port Bushings
We manufacture bronze stern tube and helm port bushings at our own production facilities, using precision machining on a dedicated machine park. All production is carried out under the supervision of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS) in accordance with act form 6.3.29.
The bushings are manufactured from marine-grade bronze alloys, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance and long service life in seawater and harsh operating conditions. Precision machining guarantees tight tolerances, reducing shaft misalignment and wear.
Our bushings are designed for:
- • Reduction of friction and wear between the propeller shaft and the stern tube
- • Smooth and reliable rotation of the rudder stock in helm port installations
- • Operation in both oil-lubricated and water-lubricated systems
These components have been successfully installed on multiple vessels and have demonstrated failure-free performance in real operating conditions.
All bushings are subject to dimensional and visual inspection, as well as material traceability and compliance with RMRS requirements.
We are open for cooperation and ready to supply bushings either as part of scheduled maintenance or as replacements during emergency repairs.
